After considering the comments received during this consultation, the next steps will be:
Autumn 2026 (Q3)
Submission of a planning applications to Nottinghamshire County Council
Autumn 2026 (Q3)/Winter 2026 (Q4)
The County Council will formally consult with the local community
Winter 2026 (Q4)/Spring 2027 (Q2)
Target for determination of the planning application by Nottinghamshire County Council
2028
If approved, soil stripping in the extension area to commence Scrooby Thomson Land and;
2029/2030
Scrooby Central would follow the completion of working at Scrooby Thomson (or vice versa)
The planning application will be made available on the Council’s Public Access website once the planning application has been submitted and validated. This will include a Statement of Community Involvement which will set out details of feedback received from this consultation.
